Kushano Sasanians Ohrmazd (Hormizd) I Kushanshah. Circa AD 265-295. AE Unit.
15.18mm 2.19gm. Bactrian mint?. Crowned bust to right Tamgha behind / Half-length bust left arising from fire altar holding filleted diadem and sceptre.

Note:
The Kushano-sasanians were sasanian princes ruling
the old kushan lands in Bactria the Kabul valley and Gandhara as
sasanian vasalls. Some periods these kushan-shahs were more or less
independent like this ruler Hormazd I Kushanshah ruling about AD
295-325 (or 270-295 according to Cribb). Mint for this type might be the
Kabul valley.
