31.5mm 3.85gm. WYHC mint. Dated RY 1 (AD 628/9).
Without wings crowned bust right / Fire altar flanked by attendants star and crescent flanking flames. Göbl type II/1. Scarce about extremely fine.
Note: Ardashir III was a son of Kavadh II. He was raised to the
throne as a boy of seven years but was killed 18 months later by his
general Shahrbaraz (who ruled briefly in 630).
