14.33mm 3.41gm. Gandhara mint. bearded bust right wearing lion headdress long ribbons
flow upward from hair in pleats reverse fire altar with 'Gondopharan'
symbol on shaft bust on altar.

Note:
The Kushano-sasanians were sasanian princes ruling
the old kushan lands in Bactria the Kabul valley and Gandhara as
sasanian vasalls. Some periods these kushan-shahs were more or less
independent like this ruler Hormazd I Kushanshah ruling about AD
295-325 (or 270-295 according to Cribb). Mint for this type might be the
Kabul valley.
