12.5mm 1.52gm Bactria mint.
Obv.: Bust of Athena to right wearing crested with plumes Corinthian helmet (possibly torque around neck) dotted border around. Beveled border. Rev.: Anepigraphic. Owl standing right head facing three feathers tail body feathers as dots on an incuse circle.

Very fine to about extremely fine with beautiful redish patina. An extremely rare Sophytos bronze to have in your collection. According to the researcher Filipe de Pina on Sophytos coinage: "The reverse is from an unpublished die". which makes this amazing piece of history even rarer.
